Bloodmoon is an event that will happen every 15 in-game days.
During a Bloodmoon Event, Monsters will spawn in hordes ranging between 20-100 hostile mobs.
Along with normal Overworld Mobs, certain Mobs form the Nether will spawn in the hordes.
All mobs during a Bloodmoon will have 4x their original health and can deal 2x their normal damage.
The Loot drop rate is increased by a factor of 20x and more resources are dropped.
There is also a Boss Mob that will spawn called “The Tough One”. Defeating him will result in lots of good resources.
Even though Bloodmoon sounds like a great way to get alot of loot there is a level of risk to it.
First of all Sleep is disabled during a Bloodmoon, attempting to do so will explode your bed.
If you die during a Bloodmoon, you will lose all your items on you permanently and will lose all your EXP.
If you don’t want to participate during a Bloodmoon you can either stay indoors in a well lit area or in a safezone.
The Best way to prepare for a Bloodmoon is to pay attention to the chat area.
Every in-game day a message will pop up counting down until the next Bloodmoon.
The evening of the Bloodmoon there will be a message popping up regarding the sky.
A message will pop up and a sound will play indicating the start of the Bloodmoon.
The Bloodmoon will last the entire in-game night.
When the following morning comes a message will pop up and sound will play indicating the end of the Bloodmoon.
When the Bloodmoon ends all Hostile Mobs will be killed off.
Good Luck to all of you and “May The Odds Be Ever In your Favour”.
